Foothills Art Center
Gather at Foothills Art Center at 6 p.m. at 15th and Arapahoe Streets on Friday, December 1, for pre-walk caroling and music. Visitors can purchase candles and glow sticks for $1 each.
About the walk
The walk will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will end in front of the Golden Visitors Center for the annual Christmas showcase and lighting of the tree and thousands of holiday lights all along Clear Creek. During the walk you can listen and sing along with holiday songs. The City of Golden will then put on a brief fireworks show directly after the walk just above the Golden Hotel.
Then, stop by the Visitors Center after the walk to see Santa and his reindeer, sip some hot cider and see this year’s special holiday ornament. Don’t forget to visit Clear Creek History Park to try a roasted chestnut and enjoy the trail of holiday lights. Hot beverages, cookies and entertainment will be provided at several businesses and cultural facilities.
