Coors Brewery Tours

Adolph Coors established the Coors brewery in Golden in 1873 on the banks of Clear Creek. Today, MillerCoors is the second largest beer company in America, capturing nearly 30 percent of US beer sales and the Coors Brewery Tour attracts 300,000 visitors to Golden each year.

History of Coors

The Coors Brewery Tour explores the world’s largest single-site brewery and includes a quick bus tour of Golden, a self paced walking tour of the brewery, highlighting the malting, brewing and packaging processes, and free beer sampling in the Coors Brewery hospitality room.

After the tour, visitors can view old photos, marvel at historic beer cans, bottles and memorabilia, and shop in the Coors & Co. gift shop.

Tours are free of charge (receive a Brewery Tour ticket at the parking lot) and photos are permitted along the route. Ample free parking is provided at the brewery tour parking lot located at 13th & Ford , but do allow for 90 minutes to three-hours for your visit depending on the time of year. The hours for the tour change seasonally, so it’s best to call ahead to make sure they’re open on the day you plan to visit.

Cost – Free.  Receive a Brewery Tour ticket at the parking lot at 13th & Ford where guests will take a tour bus through Golden to the start of the brewery tour.  All guests must have free ticket to go on the tour.

Guests may have to wait in an outside line, so please be prepared for all weather conditions.
