48 Environmental Films Coming to Golden
The 12th Colorado Environmental Film Festival, February 22 – February 24, 2018 at The American Mountaineering Center (AMC). The festival will screen films from across the globe. Running from two minutes to a little more than an hour the films make up the largest festival of this kind between the coasts.
Opening Reception – Rub elbows with the festival’s special guests and meet other film enthusiasts. Enjoy local craft beer, wine and gourmet hors d’oeuvres in the AMC.
Free Community Night – Friday nights films are free, only a donation is suggested.
Photography Exhibit – The photography exhibit takes place inside the American Mountaineering Center, and is held in conjunction with the film festival.
Film Schedule for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday:
Free Eco Expo – Learn more about the issues presented in the films and how you can get involved. Budding filmmakers also have the opportunity to meet and learn about filmmaking from guest filmmakers. The expo will be hosted at the American Mountaineering Center with over 15 organizations on hand.
Awards Ceremony and Wrap Party – Be the first to learn which films won awards. Saturday night at the AMC.
