HOLIDAY PARADE IN GOLDEN, CO

FREE HOLIDAY FAMILY FUN 

The parade will return on Dec. 14, 2024, for one spectacular day with all the favorites including elves, marching bands, floats, Victorian carolers, antique cars, the Grinch, Buffalo Bill, and Santa. The parade route runs along Washington Avenue. from 10th Street to 13th Street starting at 10:30 a.m. After the parade, grab lunch at one of the many restaurants lining Washington Avenue, or shop the galleries, boutiques, and stores of colorful historic downtown Golden.

WHEN?

Bursting with Colorado charm and holiday spirit, Olde Golden's Holiday Parade is on Dec. 14, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. The parade route runs along Washington Avenue from 10th Street to 13th Street through historic downtown.  

PARADE DETAILS

Join in the holiday spirit and watch floats, clowns, festive holiday characters, and Santa Claus on the firetruck parade down Washington Avenue. After the parades, head to the downtown area shops and restaurants.

Plan to "Parade" Like a Pro

Where: Begins at 10th St. and continues up Washington Ave. to 13th St. 
When: 10:30 a.m., Dec. 14, 2024

Plan early: Get to town early to guarantee parking and a prime viewing spot.
Dress for the weather: Festive attire is welcome.
Don't Go Hungry: Grab a bite to eat from our local restaurants and cafes before the parade.

* Avoid bringing chairs and pets, it gets crowded. 

While in town, drop off the kids' letters to Santa inside the Golden Welcome Center and plan to stay after the parade for the rest of your Golden adventure.
